Nostalgia

I guess I feel nostalgic today. Perhaps the rainy weather in England makes me feel homesick. Mostly, I miss the warm temperatures of Cyprus and the beautiful sea. I miss going for a swim in the clear turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

As a child, my family would go to Cape Greco. That includes uncles, aunts, and cousins. Nowadays, it is a popular touristic destination. However, twenty years ago, when I was a kid, we would go there, and it was just us. So naturally, we would take over the entire area. We would take food, drinks, snacks, and of course, we would roam in the sea to explore the beautiful sea life. Good times.

Now we all grew up, and we have different lives, and in some cases (like me), we are leading very different lifestyles. I miss home and spending time with my family. And honestly, it is unthinkable that this year I didn’t have the chance to go to my favourite place in the entire world, which obviously is Cape Greco. Because even though we did grow up and have different lives, we all still go to Cape Greco for a swim. After all, it is the best place to be in the summertime.
